Does my Ubuntu have a virus?
I have went around asking and no one seems incapable of answering so I am
going with worst case possibility.
My ubuntu has a black screen where the login screen is suppose to be.
Try all the common things like lightdm and grub. Everything fails to
download/update.
I get a message saying my system is locked.
So I tried to other recovery options, nothing. Tried to fix using my
liveusb. Nothing.
I have one option left now and that is to force a reinstall deleting all
personal my data, all of my settings and what not. There are some things I
do not want to delete off of my computer like my music projects and art
projects.
I am very distressed about this. What should I do?
Commands don't work. It must be from live usb or recovery.
Ignore the tag. It is a virus.
